Recipient of the Burlington Public Art Competition
My artwork seen here was inspired by the Niagara Escarpment; one of the world’s unique natural wonders and Petroglyphs & Cave Paintings; the oldest recorded paintings in existence. The background shows the topographical shape of the escarpment and Mount Nemo. The Jefferson Salamander references the importance of King Road in the annual migration of this endangered species and Burlington’s commitment to its protection. More information here.
